FO: Hourglass Cowl
Although the combination of reclaimed cotton yarn and gigantic needles made my tendons shriek bloody murder at me, I’m pleased with how solidly heavy this cowl turned out. It’s drapey, but has enough crunch to be a bit sculptural. It got a bit tedious at times, but the hourglass stitch pattern was just interesting enough to keep me from being bored to tears. If it were destined for a recipient in the Midwest I’m sure it would be little more than decorative, but it’s perfect for the freezing 65F weather they’re having down in southern California.

This is an epic scarf. It is a simple cable pattern however it is six feet and four inches tall. I finnished this last winter.
